Principal Activities
The company underwrites all non-life insurance risks and manages the run-off of its past life insurance business. Since 2010, Alliance has invested in subsidiaries like Alliance Life Assurance Limited, Dar es Salaam Properties Limited, and Union Insurance Uganda (now Alliance Africa General Insurance Limited).
What sets Alliance apart is its customer-focused approach — providing responsive service through its seven departments: Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Legal, Marketing, HR, and IT.
What We Do
Established in 1998 as a composite insurer, Alliance later separated its Life division in compliance with new regulations. Today, the company provides tailored solutions to individuals, SMEs, and major corporations — including Aviation and Marine sectors — with integrity and professionalism.
